(Havana,Cuba, 1963) Vive y trabaja en Los Angeles. Tiene un BFA de Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA y de University of Illinois en Chicago,IL. “Al principio su trabajo fue agrupado con el de Andrea Zittel, quien también reconsidera espacios domésticos. Pero a través de los años, de varias maneras, ella se ha hecho más filosófica, y él, más técnico en su énfasis.  Para Pardo, ser un artista, significa, entre otras cosas, ser un fabricante." -- Jori Finkel. Sus exposiciones individuales recientes son: Bulgogi, Gagosian Gallery, Los Angeles, 2010, Jorge Pardo, Irish Museumof Modern Art, Dublin, 2009, Eroffnug, Gallery Gisela Capitain, Koln, 2008. But over the years she has in some ways grown more philosophical, and he more technological in emphasis. Being an artist for Pardo means, among other things, being a fabricator.” –Jori Finkel.
